Meine Generation wuchs im entscheidenden Wendepunkt zwischen analoger – zu digitalisierter Welt auf. Die Vorstellung die wir alle von der Zukunft hatten, scheint eher auf Science Fiction Vorstellungen der 90 er Jahre basiert zu haben als auf der heutigen Wirklichkeit. Die Beziehung zwischen natürlichem und künstlichem Leben ist von Ungewissheit und Komplexität geprägt. Was bedeutet es, wenn in der Gegenwart mehr Fotografien von Bäumen existieren als es Bäume in der realen Welt gibt? Was kann der abstrakte Begriff Zukunft bedeuten, wenn die Zukunft in der Gegenwart immer schon endet? Ist Zukunft ein kontinuierliches `nach`? – Nach heute? Demnach würde Zukunft insofern nicht existieren weil man selbst nie dort ankommt? Ist alles was nicht heute und nicht gestern ist ein konstanter Verlauf der Zeit? Zeit ist ebenso wie räumliche Grenzen ein menschengemachtes Modell, Zeit ist bedingt imaginär. Sie ist vielmehr ein Konstrukt, welches unser Leben stabilisiert, Sicherheit gibt. Wäre die Zeit zu Ende wenn es keine Menschen mehr gäbe? Die menschliche Berührung ist das Emblem der Identität, weil sie die Beziehungserfahrung mit der ontologischen Bedeutung der menschlichen Natur synthetisiert. Aus heutiger Sicht erleben wir eine Metamorphose und einen Wertewandel. Wird die immer weiter durchdringende Digitalisierung zu einer Ablösung von unseren Grundbedürfnissen führen, die uns als Menschen auszeichnen? Wir erleben ein exponentielles Wachstum technologischer Fähigkeiten, aber auch kognitiver, ethischer, verhaltensbezogener und emotionaler Transformationen. Wo menschliche Tätigkeiten durch Technologie ersetzt werden können, muss die Essenz der Menschheit hinterfragt werden. Während der C.19 Pandemie haben wir individuell erfahren was Isolation und eine Beschleunigung der Digitalisierung mit den Individuen macht. Dabei besteht auch die Angst, dass die Menschheit von der KI abgelöst wird, das diese durch exponentielles Wissen eigene Codes entwickelt, die vom Menschen nicht mehr lesbar sein können. Ist `die Zukunft` ein Sog nach vorne der sich auflöst wenn wir dort sind? Dies sind Fragen die mich in meinem work in progress `the human touch` beeinflussen. Meine Arbeit kann und muss keine Antworten darauf geben – sie ist viel mehr ein Ort des Experiments, die Erlebnisse und die Identität des Betrachters mit einbezieht.
