The core element that informs all my art practice is the concept of Noise. Noise as a fundamental principle of randomness and uncertainty, and metaphorically, as a state of consciousness in which the self is merged with its surroundings and all sensory information is treated as equally important. 
My drawings, sound performances, and electronic prototypes are different constructs addressing complex emotional and sensory experiences of everyday life. In my drawings I use the simplest and most fundamental means to construct complex images; there is no preparatory work, and no post-process of editing or refinement. Immediacy takes center stage. Through stacking and combining gestures, and following up on their existence as directives, I am trying to figure out what the image wants and forget what I want – This way I allow the image to become ever more complex in unpredictable ways.
Similarly devoted to this simplicity-complexity strategy are my electronic sound projects. Machines for which I use very basic analog circuitry in lieu of microprocessors or computer coding. These noise machines produce daunting cacophonies of labyrinthine chip-tune patterns, abrasive sound eruptions, and unexpected turns of events; they are an aural component to my visual work and vice versa.
What I would like to propose for Zeitenwende is to install a small, temporary installation that consists of one or two visual works and an electronic noise machine set-up where the pieces face each other. The idea is for the audience to experience this visual-aural juxtaposition by entering the empty space between the visual work(s) and the sound generating machine. Thus, the viewer/listener may experience the back and forth relationship between the nature of the visuals as well as the audio.
